“The dancing conductor” was a fitting description bestowed upon R. Excelicia Cunville by late Leela Naidu (actress/musician) after she attended a concert at the St. Thomas Cathedral, Mumbai. Cunville’s stint in Mumbai confirmed her talent to bring people of different cultures and backgrounds together and to train and inspire them to sing together in the highest level of spiritual harmony. She was invited to conduct the Halcyon Chorus for a Christmas programme after which she co-founded the Madrigale Internationale (Mumbai) -a choir which featured singers from all over India as well as Thailand, the African continent, and the United States of America.
The voice of R. Excelicia Cunville ranges from contralto to soprano, her singing experiences includes singing with the Studente Koor, Amsterdam, and the London Chorus. She has also sung solo in India, Thailand and the Netherlands. In January 2015, she performed with the Cochin Chamber Orchestra in Kerela.
Her vocal training was done privately in India, the Netherlands and the UK. At the piano, she has thrilled audiences in different settings including accompanying soloists and groups, as well as playing for operettas.
Besides, she is a certified teacher of English as a foreign language.

"Die tanzende Dirigentin" ist ein passender Titel für R. Excelicia Cunville, welcher ihr von Leela Naidu (Schauspielerin / Musikerin) nach einem Konzertbesuch in der St. Thomas Cathedral Mumbai verliehen wurde. Cunville’s Arbeit in Mumbai unterstreicht ihr Talent, Menschen unterschiedlicher Kulturen und Hintergründe zusammenzubringen, zu schulen und zu inspirieren und mit ihnen in der höchsten Ebene der spirituellen Harmonie zusammen zu singen. Sie wurde gebeten, den Halcyon-Chor für ein Weihnachtsprogramm zu dirigieren - ein Chor, mit Sängern aus ganz Indien, Thailand, dem afrikanischen Kontinent und den Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika.
Die Stimme R. Excelicia Cunville’s reicht von Alt bis Sopran, ihre Gesangserfahrung umfasst das Singen mit dem Studente Koor, Amsterdam und dem London Chorus. Sie hat auch in Indien, Thailand und den Niederlanden Solo-Konzerte gegeben. Im Januar 2015 fürhte sie ein Konzert mit dem Kammerorchester Cochin in Kerala durch.
Ihre Gesangsausbildung bekam sie privat in Indien, in den Niederlanden und in Großbritannien den. Am Klavier begeistert sie ihr Publikum als Solistin sowie als Begleitmusikerin von Gruppen.
Daneben ist sie eine zertifizierte Lehrerin für Englisch als Fremdsprache.
