1. Only residents of Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia may send their applications at the Embassy of India, Berlin by post.

2. Only applications for Passport, OCI and other miscellaneous Services may be sent by post to the Embassy. 

3. Postal applicants are required to send a self-addressed (with complete postal address), medium (C5) size envelope with sufficient stamps for registered post (Euro 4.25) for return of documents unless the documents are to be collected in person on due date.

4. All postal applicants are required to send the completed application form with all required supporting documents and a proof of the bank transfer of consular fee and consular surcharge. Please note that incomplete application forms will not be processed and returned to the applicants and the applicant will have to bear the cost of the postage.

5. The Consular Wing of the Embassy will not be responsible for postal delay and loss of documents in the post.
