Life is dynamic, constantly moving and if we let our body dance and sing in sync or in rhythm with Mother Nature, life can be one great music composition. In order to lead a balanced and healthy life it is important to achieve harmony within ourselves — each body cell vibrating in coordination with every other cell. Various techniques and methods are used to bring about this balance. Music is one of the most simple and easiest way to create harmony in and around us. Using Classical Indian music, with its various melodic phrases and Sanskrit chantings can help one lead a stress free, healthy and happy everyday life - this has been my pursuit for the past 2 decades. Either listening to music or for certain ailments actual singing can help keep away many diseases from our life. Everyone has an inner tendency to stay fit and healthy. Music can help us achieve this. Nature plays a very important role in Indian music. Various Vedic slokas (verses) are potent with tremendous power which can influence one’s life. Using these forms of music and chantings to create an ambience where the mind and body are at relaxed state even amidst everyday busy and hectic city atmosphere – this has been my earnest effort.

A Zoology (Honors) graduate from Lady Brabourne College Calcutta, Rajasree Mukherjee, received her training in Tagore music under the famous guru SuchitraMitra and topped the Diploma exams in RabindraSangeet at Rabi Tirtha Institute. She went on to secure double graduation in Indian Music from Prayag University in Allahabad and Prachin Kala Kendra in Chandigarh.
Rajasree has lived in Africa for 28 years and has given numerous stage performances in Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Congo apart from India, Bangladesh, USA and Canada.
Rajasree is an experienced Music Therapist and has used Indian Classical Music, Vedic Hymns and Chants to great effect in meditation techniques for healing numerous ailments.
