Anuya Rane

Anuya Rane is a Bharata Natyam dancer, who was born and brought up in Mumbai, India. She started learning BharataNatyam at Nalanda Nrityakala Mahavidyalaya, an institute affiliated to the Mumbai University, founded by Dr. Kanak Rele. She earned Bachelors and Master\'s degree, specializing in Bharata Natyam, from the Mumbai University. Having completed the formal education, she embarked on her personal journey as an artist through her performances in India and in Europe. She was initiated in Yoga as a student of classical dance, which she continues to practice through dance. Since 2005, she is living in Europe, where she is actively spreading awareness about Indian classical dance, not just in the form of performances but through workshops, lecture-demonstrations and interactions with other artists.

Anuya Rane ist eine in Mumbai geborene und aufgewachsene Bharatanatyam Tänzerin. Sie begann mit ihrem Tanztraining an der Nalanda Nrityakala Mahavidyalaya, einem Institut der Universität Mumbai unter Leitung von Dr. Kanak Rele. Dort legte sie auch ihren Bachelor-und Master-Abschluss in Bharata Natyam ab. Nach Abschluss der formalen Bildung begann sie ihren künstlerischen Weg mit Auftritten in Indien und Europa. Durch den Tanz kam sie zum Yoga. Seit 2005 lebt und arbeitet Anuya Rane in Europa, wo sie aktiv den klassischen indischen Tanz nicht nur in Form von Auftritten, sondern auch durch Workshops, Vorträge, Demonstrationen Kooperationen mit anderen Künstlern präsentiert.
