German Academicians eager to Participate in GIAN Scheme

The Government of India has launched a program titled Global Initiative of Academic Networks (GIAN) which seeks to tap the talent pool of international scientists and entrepreneurs to increase their interaction with the institutes of Higher Education in India. The program aims to augment the countrys existing academic resources, accelerate the pace of quality reform, and elevate Indias scientific and technological capacity to global excellence.
It is a matter of great pride for the Indo- German cooperation in Higher Education that 17 renowned academicians from premier higher educational institutions in Germany, have been selected to participate in this one-of-a kind venture. More academicians have also evinced their interest in the program and we expect to see an increase in participants soon.
