Anne Dietrich is a Culture and Dance Educationalist, choreographer and dancer, having learnt various dance styles including Classical Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Jazz Dance and Improvisations Technique in Germany and Ireland. Her current focus is on the Classical Indian Dance Forms Mohiniyattam and Kathak, as well as Contemporary Dance. Her first introduction to Mohiniyattam was at Kerala Kalamandalam Deemed University for Art and Culture, under her Guru Late Prof. Kalamandalam Leelamma. Inquisitive about the stylistic differences congenital to this dance tradition, she became a disciple of Pallavi Krishnan. Now she is continuing her training under Padmashree Bharati Shivaji (Centre for Mohiniyattam).
In 2010, Anne was invited to present her Mohiniyattam Solo for the “International Dance Festival” of ICCR at the Kamani Auditorium in New Delhi. In 2013 she toured in Germany and Russia with the ICCR sponsored Indian Dance Production “Swanlake” (Concept&Choreography: Vijayalaskhmi) and in 2017 with the ICCR sponsored dance theatre production “Manucharitam_to be” in India.
Together with Jana Schmuck, she is the artistic Director of TanzART - Center for Dance, Movement and Art.
Isa Jacobi is the only German Kathakali dancer. Since 1979, she studies this form of the Indian dance drama, dominated traditionally by men. She studied first with private teachers, 1979 with Naripatta and 1982/83 with Sadanam Krishnan Kutty, with whom she went on a Germany Kathakali tour in 1985. Later she extended her dance knowledge with a 3-year Ballet -, Modern- u. Jazzdance study. In 1997, she returned to Kerala to work with Kottakkal Sivaraman. In 2002, she received a scholarship due to her good representation in Kathakali from ICCR and studied further at the Margi School in Trivandum and extended her repertoire, her characters and stories. Her favourite characters are Hanuman the ape God (Velli Tardi), King Bhima, a hero (Pacca) and Nakratundi, female Daemon(Kari).
Later she created a fusion with Kathakali and a Greek tragedy.

Zusammen mit Jana Schmuck ist sie künstlerische Leiterin des TanzART - Zentrums für Tanz, Bewegung und Kunst.

Jazzdance-Studium. 1997 kehrte sie nach Kerala zurück, um mit Kottakkal Sivaraman zusammenzuarbeiten. 2002 erhielt sie aufgrund ihrer herausragenden Kathakali-Fähigkeiten vom ICCR ein Stipendium, studierte an der Margi-Schule in Trivandum und erweiterte ihr Repertoire, ihre Charaktere und Geschichten. Ihre Lieblingsfiguren sind Hanuman - der Affengott (Velli Tardi), König Bhima - ein Held (Pacca) und Nakratundi - weiblicher Daemon (Kari).
Später schuf sie eine Verbindung mit Kathakali und einer griechischen Tragödie.
