Instructions regarding entry into the consular Wing

         The Embassy of India in Berlin follows the prevalent rules regarding COVID protocols in Germany. In order to ensure the safety and well-being of the visitors to the Consular section of the Embassy of India, entry in the Consular Wing of the Embassy is permitted only as per 2G rule (persons who are vaccinated against, or have recovered from, COVID-19) in the normal course. Accordingly, following protocol would be applicable for providing consular services:

IN CASE OF INDIAN NATIONALS

  1. Indian nationals who fulfill the requirements of 2G rule are allowed to enter the premises without pandemic-related restrictions, subject to usual procedure and documentation.

  2. Indian nationals who do not fulfill the requirements of 2G rule may get in touch with the Consular staff on emergency response number +49-151-72120983 or through mail on cons1[dot]berlin[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in.  Special arrangements shall be made by appointment for such Indian nationals.

IN CASE OF FOREIGN NATIONALS

  1. Foreign Nationals shall be permitted to enter consular wing of the Embassy only with prior appointment, provided theycomply with 2G rule.

For appointments related to services, please write to concerned email mentioned here after filling the requisite application form for desired service and making the payment through bank transfer. The Application Reference Number, Name and Passport number must be mentioned clearly in the email.

HOURS OF ENTRY

For submission of applications for Passport, Attestation, Consular and Miscellaneous Services or for Consultation:
09:30am – 12:30pm on all working days.

For collection of Passports and other finished documents:
16:00pm – 17:00pm  on all working days.
