There is a wave of Yoga sweeping the world today. It is practiced regularly in innumerable countries. However, very few know what Yoga really is. This documentary takes you to the true meaning of Yoga, supported by interviews with the leading teachers of Yoga, as well as prominent doctors and scientists. It is a visual treat, with sensitive shooting of the finest practitioners of Yoga asanas.It is shot across India, as well as across Germany and USA. It has the last major interview with the late great Guru BKS Iyengar.
The film is directed, scripted and photographed by distinguished cultural historian Shri Benoy K Behl. Shri Behl made 130 films on the art and cultural history of India and Asia. It is produced by dedicated Yoga practitioner Rahul Bansal.

Dieser Dokumentarfilm führt Sie in die wahre Bedeutung des Yoga ein, zeigt Interviews mit führenden Lehrern des Yoga, mit prominenten Ärzten und Wissenschaftlern. Es werden die besten Praktiker des Yoga in Indien, Amerika und in Deutschland, wo der Dokumentarfilm gedreht wurde, zu sehen sein, daneben das letzte größere Interview mit dem verstorbenen Guru BKS Iyengar.
Der Film wurde von Regisseur und Kulturhistoriker Shri Benoy K Behl gedreht und von Rahul Bansal produziert. Benoy K Behl produzierte bisher 130 Filme über die Kunst- und Kulturgeschichte von Indien und Asien.
