International Fleet Review 2016

International Fleet Review 2016 was conducted by Indian Navy from 04 to 08 February 2016 in Indian Ocean. The theme of the International Fleet Review 2016 was 'United Through Oceans'. Approximately 90 Ships of the various countries participated in the International Fleet Review this year including two Ships of China namely Liuzhou(573) and Sanya (574).

The Hon'ble President of India Mr Pranab Mukerjee reviewed the Indian Naval Fleet as part of the 'President's Fleet Review'. Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi along with Defence Minister also witnessed the event. Vice Admiral Andreas Krause, Chief of German Navy participated in the event. In addition to showcasing our navy to the world, the event rejuvenated the spirit of shared principles of friendship with the participating nations.
