Warning: Fraud Phone Calls

         The German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) (http://www.bamf.de) has issued a Warning Notice about Fraud Phone Calls allegedly made quoting their office.All Indian nationals are requested to note the contents of the following Notice and inform BAMF immediately at the e-mail address given in case they receive such a phone call to extort money.

"Today, we received several complaints from Indian nationals living in Germany about calls from the telephone number 0911-943-6390. The caller threatens that the addressee will be deported unless he/she pays a certain fine.Please be informed that these calls have not been undertaken by the BAMF. The BAMF will report an offence to the police.
