The Heavy Electricals Equipment Plant (HEEP) located in Haridwar, India is one of the major manufacturing plants of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd – A Government of India Undertaking.

The core business of HEEP includes design and manufacture of large steam and gas turbines, turbo generators, hydro turbines and generators and so on.

BHEL has published an open tender T/T212/22/1024N/2 for "FORGING FOR HP ROTOR WITHOUT WELD OVERLAY (ROUGH MACHINED)"  This is to inform that  the last date of submitting bid has been extended to 21.12.2022.  Further, quantity is also increased to 03 nos. The details of the tender along with required documents are available at following websites:

The following additional technical requirement has been added and shall be applicable in the enquiry:

• Thermal stability shall be carried out as per attached specification ATP1201501.

• The test requirement shall be included by supplier in MPP (manufacturing, Inspection and Control Process Plan) and the MPP should also show test bands locations.
